What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files that a website or third-party service may store in your browser. Similar technologies such as local storage can store preferences directly on your device.
Not every such technology is used for tracking. Some are required for security, core functionality or remembering your choices.
What Website Temple uses
The public website uses local storage under the key website-temple-cookie-consent-v2 to remember your privacy choice and avoid showing the banner on every visit.
When you consent to analytics technologies, we load Google Tag Manager, which is used to activate Google Analytics 4. If you do not allow analytics, GTM and Google Analytics are not loaded by the public website.
The administrative area may use strictly necessary authentication cookies for authorised users. These are not part of normal public website use.
As of this policy date, no marketing or remarketing trackers are active on the public website. If we add them, we will update this policy and the consent controls before activating them.
Categories
Necessary. Required for core functionality, security, authentication and remembering your privacy choice. They are always active where strictly necessary for the website to operate.
Analytics. Google Analytics 4 is used to measure visits, pages viewed, traffic sources and interactions with the website and free tools. This category is activated only after your choice.
Marketing. Intended for advertising measurement, remarketing and similar purposes. No marketing trackers are currently active.
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4
Google Tag Manager is a tag management system. It is used to load measurement technologies in a controlled way according to your choices. In the current setup, we use it for Google Analytics 4.
After consent, Google Analytics 4 may process visit and device/browser information, pages viewed, referral and campaign information, approximate geography and interactions with the website. Google Analytics may create cookies such as _ga and related identifiers.
We use Google Consent Mode with analytics and advertising storage denied by default. Google tags are not loaded until you allow an active optional category.
Managing your choices
On your first visit, you can accept the active optional technologies, reject them or open detailed preferences.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” button in the footer. If you fully withdraw optional technologies, we remove known analytics/advertising cookies from our domain and reload the page without optional tags.
Browser controls
Most browsers let you block, restrict or delete cookies and local storage. Blocking a strictly necessary technology may prevent parts of the website or administrative functionality from working correctly.
Updates and contact
We will update this policy when analytics, advertising tags, consent management or other technologies that store or access information on a device are added or changed.
