Cargos3D

We began by analysing the real workflow used by transport and logistics companies — from receiving a cargo list to arranging the pallets inside the trailer. The main challenge was to present complex rules involving dimensions, weight, delivery stops and multiple trips through an interface that remains easy to operate.

We developed an interactive 3D planner that visualises the loading space and allows users to inspect the arrangement from different viewpoints. Users can work with a standard trailer, megatrailer, cargo van or a custom vehicle with its own dimensions and maximum payload.

Several cargo input methods were introduced, including manual entry, CSV import and XLSX import. Cargo data can be grouped by delivery stop, supporting the correct unloading order and allowing multiple transport trips to be planned within one working session.

We also developed validation logic that identifies mismatches between the imported cargo information and the available pallets. When the data is incomplete or inconsistent, the platform prevents finalisation and directs the user to the problem before the loading plan is used in practice.

The interface was optimised for fast daily operation, clear visual feedback and use by people with different levels of technical experience. This transforms complex cargo planning into a consistent and understandable digital workflow.
